Garden Horizons Mutations
A collection page for mutation paths, trigger logic, and the detail pages that explain whether a multiplier chase is actually worth the route disruption.
Mutation layer
Multiplier paths worth reviewing
Mutation pages should help the reader separate meaningful upside from routes that only sound exciting on paper.
Live
Shocked
4.5x multiplier triggered by Storm weather. The highest-value weather mutation in the game.
Open mutationLive
Frostbit
3.5x multiplier triggered by Snow weather. No incompatibilities, stacks freely with all other mutations.
Open mutationLive
Tidal
2x multiplier triggered by Rain weather. The highest-value Rain mutation with no incompatibilities.
Open mutationLive
Foggy
1.25x multiplier triggered by Fog weather. Zero incompatibilities — stacks with everything.
Open mutationLive
Muddy
5x terrain multiplier — the strongest terrain mutation and 2nd highest non-event multiplier overall.
Open mutationLive
Mossy
3.5x terrain multiplier, equal to Frostbit. Mid-tier terrain mutation with no incompatibilities.
Open mutationLive
Sandy
2.5x terrain multiplier — the entry-level terrain mutation, still stronger than Snowy or Tidal.
Open mutationLive
Meteoric
10x cosmic multiplier — the strongest cosmic mutation and one of the highest multipliers in the game.
Open mutationLive
Starstruck
6.5x cosmic multiplier, tied with Nova. Stronger than any weather mutation.
Open mutationLive
Nova
6.5x cosmic multiplier, tied with Starstruck. A rare cosmic event with massive value potential.
Open mutationLive
Strange
2x special multiplier triggered by anomalous growth patterns. Entry-level special mutation, equal to Snowy and Tidal.
Open mutationLive
Ancient
7.5x special multiplier from aged relic conditions. Stronger than all cosmic and weather mutations except Meteoric.
Open mutationLive
Salad
10x special multiplier from diverse multi-crop gardens. Tied with Meteoric and Banned — only Party is higher.
Open mutationLive
Party
11.5x event multiplier — the highest in the entire game. Only appears during special in-game celebrations.
Open mutationLive
Banned
10x admin-granted multiplier. Cannot be obtained through normal gameplay — applied by game administrators only.
Open mutationStacking formula
How mutation multipliers stack
Mutations multiply each other — not add. Understanding the formula is the difference between a good crop and a great one.
Final Value = Base Sell Price × Mutation₁ × Mutation₂ × … × Mutationₙ. Mutations stack multiplicatively — each compatible mutation multiplies the result of all previous ones. Incompatible pairs cannot coexist on the same crop.
- Mutations stack multiplicatively, not additively. Two 2x mutations give 4x total, not 4x.
- There is no cap on the number of mutations a crop can hold, but incompatible pairs block each other.
- The Golden Cherry mutation is crop-specific (Cherry only) and does not appear in the general stacking formula.
- Event mutations (Party) and admin mutations (Banned) are the rarest but stack normally with all other types.
Weather triggers
Weather-to-mutation table
Which weather conditions trigger which mutations. Use this to plan your planting around weather forecasts.
| Weather | Mutations triggered |
|---|---|
| Rain | Tidal (2x), Flooded (1.75x), Soaked (1.25x) |
| Snow | Frostbit (3.5x), Snowy (2x), Chilled (1.5x) |
| Storm | Shocked (4.5x) |
| Fog | Foggy (1.25x) |
| Wind | None currently |
| Petal Rain | None currently |
Incompatibilities
Mutation pairs that cannot coexist
These mutations block each other on the same crop. Plan around them.
Snowy + Chilled
Both are Snow-weather mutations. Only one Snow-tier mutation can apply per crop — pick Snowy (2x) over Chilled (1.5x) for higher value.
Flooded + Soaked
Both are Rain-weather mutations. Only one Rain-tier mutation can coexist — Flooded (1.75x) beats Soaked (1.25x) for pure value.
Best combinations
Recommended mutation stacks
The highest-value mutation combinations ranked by total multiplier.
Maximum theoretical stack
11.5 × 10 × 5 × 4.5 × 3.5 = 9,056.25xRequires Party event + Meteoric cosmic event + Storm and Snow weather simultaneously. Extremely unlikely but technically possible.
Best realistic weather stack
4.5 × 3.5 × 2 × 1.25 = 39.375xRequires Storm + Snow + Rain + Fog weather conditions. Achievable during multi-weather events.
Best non-event stack
10 × 5 × 4.5 × 3.5 = 787.5xCosmic + terrain + weather mutations. No event dependency, making this the strongest farmable combination.
FAQs
Common questions about mutations
Quick answers to the most searched questions about mutation stacking, combos, and incompatibilities.
How does mutation stacking work in Garden Horizons?
Mutations stack multiplicatively. Each mutation multiplies the crop's base value by its own multiplier, then the next mutation multiplies that result. For example, Shocked (4.5x) plus Frostbit (3.5x) gives 15.75x total value, not 8x.
Which mutation combinations are incompatible?
Two pairs are incompatible: Snowy and Chilled cannot coexist because both are Snow-weather mutations, and Flooded and Soaked cannot coexist because both are Rain-weather mutations. All other 17 mutations can stack freely regardless of category.
What is the best mutation combination for profit?
The best farmable combo is Meteoric (10x) + Muddy (5x) + Shocked (4.5x) + Mossy (3.5x) for 787.5x total. If a Party event is active, adding Party (11.5x) pushes the stack to 9,056.25x — the theoretical maximum.
